I’m sure you have noticed we haven’t been active on here in a while. We’ve missed you. Our entire life has been flipped upside down since January 30th. Mama Green was hospitalized over 60 days in Colorado with 20 of them being in the ICU. We’ve been to a hospital rehab facility too and now she is able to be at home and focus on her rehab there for the upcoming years. I left my life and business behind since this unexpected complication and have been by her side so much that if any of you need wound or Ostomy care…. I GOT YOU! (All jokes aside🤣) I am beyond grateful for my mom being alive today.

I’ll spare you the details and am only sharing our “best” photos here. When my mom was hospitalized it was the scariest 3 months of my life, if not worst. Some good came out of this though, I got to design so many beautiful graphics and even some new stickers which are now released on my website. Every single one I drew while mom was in the ICU or hospital. Making these kept me sane during the darkest days. 

Mama Green went into a scheduled surgery on 1/31 and to say it was TOUGH would be an understatement. We were able to take her home that night but ended up going back to the ER the next day for unusual symptoms. She had to undergo an emergency 9 hour surgery. Long story short she had full severe septic shock, then developed tons of blood clots and had surgery on those, collapsed lung, anemia, abscesses with infection, chest tubes, bad reactions to medications even resulting in narcosis, brain swelling and gosh that’s just the beginning y’all. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers as it’ll be a long road ahead.
